Journal Presentation?

I was absent that day because of some personal problem.

My classmates told me that there was a journal presentation for each everyone in computer lab. Oopss... I missed it already. I wonder how is it to present each of our blog? Pei Ven told me that will be another presentation for us.... :)

Qipao (Cheongsam)

Qipao is part of the Chinese cultures since long time ago.

I am interested in this Chinese clothing because Qipao still is being worn by many people until this century.

I want to study more about History of Qipao and Eastmeets West to Qipao. So, I did my secondary research in library and online research as well. I want to know why designers are blending Chinese cultures with Western cultures and a lot of celebrities wear Qipao to annual awards.

Kelly Preston was wearing a modern typical Qipao.

I had chose few topics which are related with Qipao
with the following sub topics:

Mythology in Design, Fashion and Media

I met Mr. Teresa in Faculty staffroom when I just settled my changing class procedure. She gave me a short brief of this module and the assignment was given last week class.

From the beginning, I confused what she wants actually. This is an essay which I need to choose a topic with the theme-The Mythology in Design, Fashion and Media, was given by Ms. Teresa. It is an essay research with 2000 words. She told me the coming Friday has a tutorial of this assignment and I have to start to get an idea of my topic and researches.

After that, I went to library to try to do some research about regarding the theme. Beside this, I also do research through internet. I found that chinese fashion, QiPao, is interesting to me because the myth of pattern like dragon, phoenix, floral and etc and its color and the way to make since ancient time until recent modern time.

I had told Ms. Teresa what I did and what I think and she said that's right and asked me to write down the topic that I had chosen.

I'll do methology research which is secondary research about my topic.

The Devil Wears Prada

Ms. Teresa had told us to update our blog which is about

the this movie and classes activities.
By the way, this movie was showed by Ms. Teresa in the class.
I wasn't in the class yet as i was doing my changing course process.
Anyway, I just post up my thought about this movie

as I did watch it before.

The movie is about fashion world in New York city.
Andy (Anne Hathaway) is sweet and frumpy,

graduate and dreams to become a journalist.

She is hired to work as the second assistant of

the powerful and sophisticated Miranda Priestly,

executive of the Runway fashion magazine.

Miranda is a merciless, posh and cruel woman.

Miranda’s arrival, heralded by a flurry of activity

(clearing desks, arranging magazines,

tossing out half-eaten breakfasts)

brings more doom and gloom.

Nigel, being nice and much put-upon himself, takes on

the apparently monumental project of making Andy over,

and a few tossed-together outfits from the office racks later,

she’s brilliant, losing her poly-blend and reentering

the office in slow motion and Chanel.

Andy's transition makes her became more confident.

Her attitude and behavior changes, affecting her private life

and the relationship with her boyfriend Nate, her family and friends.

In the end, Andrea learns that life is made of choices.

Hicks !!! I'm sick

I had meet and made new frens in this new course and had learn many new things. Hmmm...everything very interesting. Trying to get my assignmnets done but unfortunately I'm having fever.....high fever.......39.40 degree celcius summore..hot till wanna crazy liaw.............uhu uhu uhu...........wanna sleep liaw..........bye......
